You will lead model quality, experimentation, and drive technical roadmaps, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of ML engineering experience.
• Expertise in recommender modeling and transformer architectures.
• Experience with high-QPS, latency-constrained ML systems.
• Proven track record in industry-grade software engineering.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will help shape machine learning initiatives that improve content discovery and growth outcomes across a large-scale consumer platform. You will lead technical areas spanning model quality, experimentation, and the underlying systems that support training and serving at scale. The position partners closely with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive roadmap decisions, raise technical standards, and apply advanced research methods in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $189,308 – $389,753 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sub-areas within growth content science
