Ladders is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Manager - Core Ads Ranking to lead a high-impact ML organization focused on ranking quality and user understanding at scale. You will own the roadmap for foundational model work and partner with cross-functional teams to align strategy and execution.

This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, ensuring strong model development, deployment, and growth of the team while delivering value across the ads platform.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of management experience leading ML-focused teams.
• 6+ years of experience building and scaling machine learning models.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proven ability in training, evaluating, and deploying large-scale models.
• Experience with foundational models and user understanding.
• Ads experience is a plus.

For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Manager - Core Ads Ranking to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will guide a high-impact machine learning organization focused on ranking quality, user understanding, and the systems that influence content relevance at scale. You will lead the roadmap for foundational model work and partner closely with adjacent teams to align strategy, priorities, and execution across the business. The position also combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management, ensuring strong model development, deployment, and team growth.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $230,000 – $322,000 annually
