Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to design, development, and optimization of software for next-generation data center platforms.

You will lead a team of engineers, advancing virtualization, memory management, and Linux kernel features while collaborating across functions to meet performance metrics. You will drive pre-silicon development on FPGA and QEMU, work on ARMv8/ARMv9 platforms, and contribute to open-source projects.

Formación

• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in a related field with multi-year software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance features in the Linux Kernel, including virtualization (KVM), scheduling, and memory management (IOMMU).
• Optimize power and performance management technologies like DVFS for ARM-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, scalable software solutions.
• Debug and resolve complex software issues using debugging tools.
• Contribute to upstream open-source projects, including the Linux Kernel.
• Drive improvements in system software for ARMv8/ARMv9 platforms.
• Create and maintain architecture and development process documentation.
• Pre-Silicon Development on FPGA and QEMU platforms.
