Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking engineers to drive CPU software architecture across Qualcomm custom CPU cores, enabling firmware development and hardware-software co-design.

You’ll contribute to software architecture, system optimizations, and ARMv9 features for premium mobile, laptop, automotive, cloud, and server products. You will participate in design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of embedded and cloud edge software, collaborating with HW teams to shape architecture and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Applies Software knowledge to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or utility programs.
• Analyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for operational efficiency.
• Designs and implements software modules for products and systems.
• Participates in design, coding of large features, unit testing, debugging fixes, and integration efforts to meet specifications.
• Performs code reviews and regression tests and triages issues to ensure code quality.
• Collaborates with project team members to achieve objectives.
• Writes technical documentation for Software projects.
