Job summary

BeyondTrust, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to own the Linux kernel enforcement layer of the Identity Security Platform.

You will lead eBPF enforcement, kernel-space design, and real-time policy decisions across fleets, while coordinating with macOS and Windows teams and a shared policy backend. You’ll push for low-latency, secure kernel interactions, handle containerized workloads, and ensure portability across kernel versions.

Qualifications

• Deep Linux kernel internals and production systems knowledge.
• Hands-on eBPF for security enforcement with verifier fluency.
• 8+ years in systems-level software engineering, with kernel development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own eBPF programs and LSM hooks in kernel space.
• Manage kernel/userspace enforcement boundary and policy evaluation.
• Reduce enforce-mode latency on syscall hot path across large fleets.
• Extend enforcement into containers and namespaces including Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with macOS and Windows enforcement teams and policy backend.
