ThreatLocker seeks a Linux Kernel Developer to design, implement, and maintain low-level Linux components powering our endpoint security platform. This in-office role is based in Orlando, FL, focusing on robust kernel code, eBPF tooling, and cross-distro compatibility.

You will collaborate with security, QA, DevOps, and product teams to debug complex kernel issues, contribute to CI/CD, and advance performance across x86_64 and ARM64 architectures.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals.
• Experience with Linux kernel modules and/or eBPF.
• Experience with processes, scheduling, memory management, concurrency, filesystems, networking, or storage subsystems.
• Experience debugging kernel and low-level system issues.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and system-level software.
• Experience working across multiple Linux distributions and kernel versions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, debug, test, and maintain Linux kernel-level components using C/C++.
• Work with kernel modules, eBPF, system calls, filesystems, networking, memory management, and process monitoring.
• Validate kernel functionality from user space and work with user-space APIs.
• Debug complex kernel, performance, compatibility, and system-level issues.
• Support compatibility across Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE, and other Linux environments.
• Support kernel and platform enablement across x86_64 and ARM64.
• Contribute to build, packaging, CI/CD, and automated kernel testing processes.
• Support platform and Linux distribution porting where required.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and security teams.
