ZT Systems is seeking a Data & Business Analyst with deep manufacturing and supply chain domain knowledge to drive data contracts and issue resolution in Secaucus, NJ.

You will partner with data quality and engineering teams to govern data, design metrics, and deliver actionable insights using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Grafana. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business analysis, computer science, or related field with relevant experience.
• 5+ years as a developer and/or data analyst in manufacturing or similar domains.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for issue investigation and manage expectations.
• Navigate large manufacturing systems to identify origination and owners.
• Partner with data quality to govern data contracts and lead acceptance tests.

We are seeking a sharp, customer-centric Data & Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in manufacturer / supply chain industry.

We are seeking a sharp, customer-centric Data & Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in manufacturer / supply chain industry.

In this high-impact role, you will act as a key player in operating customer data contract project regularly and occasionally in escalation mode. You will leverage your technical background and analytical prowess to investigate complex product issues, manage customer expectations, and uncover operational gaps using data.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a primary technical point of contact with customer engineer group for critical issue investigation, skillfully balancing customer expectations while driving internal resolution.
• Rapidly navigate and parse large, complex MFG systems of records (e.g., operation data & metrics, test log) to identify origination and responsible parties.
• Partner with data quality team to establish governance, integrity and strategy for our data contracts, work with Developers with implementation and lead acceptance test.
• Design viable metrics and visualization for data quality. Proactively work with teams cross the board internally when significant drops are detected, approach pragmatically till situations are de-escalated
• Prioritize efforts and delegate activities appropriately as well as use analytical experience to consult end users with the overall objective of improving the use of application systems functionality.
• Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities with data driven approach, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

What You Bring

• Degree and Work Year Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business analysis, computer science, or related field and 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Developer and/or Data Analyst
• Alternatively, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience is accepted.
• Ability to analyze and query data using variety of tools sets.
• Must have worked in Manufacturer or similar domains and had deep subject expertise.
• Must be familiar with standard Change Management procedures. Preferred Jira experience.
• Must have ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to help negotiate priorities, and to resolve conflicts among project partners.
• Must have excellent data analysis, technical analysis, problem solving and interpersonal skills and experience.
• Must have a solid understanding of database design and development skills. Must have an expertise querying data using SQL commands.
• Familiar with data visualization systems like power BI, tableau, Grafana etc
• Candidate should be capable of multi-tasking, very detail-oriented, and accustomed to working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $105K - $140K. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
