Job summary

Intuit in Champaign, IL is seeking a Staff Software Engineer – iOS to help build the AppFabric Mobile platform powering 20+ Intuit apps. You will work on a shared foundation for auth, shell, navigation, and device capabilities, enabling product teams to focus on customers.

You’ll push for sub-5-second load times, collaborating with Swift/SwiftUI, Android, backend, and product partners. This role targets an engineer who enjoys end-to-end ownership, platform development, and delivering code used

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mobile app development experience.
• Deep iOS experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit; some Android exposure.
• Experience in SDLC and software design/architecture.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong communication; ability to explain complex technical issues.
• Experience with AI model integration and evaluation.
• Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
• Cloud experience (AWS or GCP) preferred.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality, performant iOS features using Swift/SwiftUI, from architecture through shipping.
• Own initiatives end-to-end—from customer insight and prototyping to production release and post-launch iteration.
• Drive AI-powered iOS experiences, integrating AI capabilities into mobile features and evaluating real-world impact.
• Write clean, well-tested code with strong unit test coverage, upholding TDD practices.
• Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineering to translate customer needs into polished mobile solutions.
• Act as a technical mentor for the iOS community, raising code quality, architecture, and best practices.
• Stay ahead of iOS and mobile-AI trends, bringing new tools and patterns into the team.
