Job summary

Beacon AI is seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile team and build high-impact iOS applications for our flight safety platform. You will work with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to develop user-facing features and production systems.

You’ll grow your iOS expertise while shipping real-time, safety-critical mobile software in a fast-moving, collaborative environment in the San Carlos, CA area.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience developing iOS applications
• Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI; some UIKit exposure
• Familiarity with async/await, multithreading, or GCD
• Experience with networking and real-world data sources

Responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and modern frameworks
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build reliable, high-performance mobile apps
• Integrate with internal/external APIs for real-time data and functionality
• Work with designers/product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and follow iOS best practices
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing/documentation
