Meet Our Team:

PayPal Ads is building the world’s most commerce-intent-driven advertising platform. Our mission is to connect nearly 400 million users and millions of merchants across PayPal, Venmo, and Honey through meaningful, personalized ad experiences—from product discovery to conversion.

We are forming a brand-new mobile ads engineering team to build and scale features such as:
- Native ad surfaces in Venmo and PayPal
- Ad SDK infrastructure shared across properties
- Deep integration with identity, targeting, and measurement systems
- Open Measurement SDK (OM SDK) integration

Your Day to Day:

- Lead development of high-quality, performant ad placements in the PayPal and Venmo iOS apps
- Integrate with backend Ads services including targeting, measurement, and creative decisioning
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Backend, Android, Web, and Data Science teams
- Work in ambiguity as we prototype and scale brand-new surfaces, for ads and offer placements
- Build frameworks and libraries that are reused across the PayPal mobile ecosystem
- Ensure a privacy-first, accessible, and intuitive experience for users interacting with ads

What You Bring:

- 8+ years of experience building and shipping iOS apps at scale
- Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS architectural patterns
- Experience building SDKs or reusable components within a large mobile codebase
- Familiarity with ad tech concepts such as viewability, dynamic rendering, event tracking, or auctions
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally with backend, product, and design
- Bias for action and ability to navigate ambiguous 0→1 product environments
