Job summary

CACI is seeking a Staff Infrastructure/DevSecOps Engineer in Colorado to help deploy secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in AWS and other clouds.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in infrastructure/DevOps, TS/SCI with poly, hands-on IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerized apps. You’ll collaborate with remote teams on critical missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 7+ years DevOps/Infrastructure experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC tooling.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Active TS/SCI with Poly and ability to obtain security certifications.

The Opportunity

This position is for a Staff Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer. You'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented team members. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a motivated self-starter that can join the team to begin producing quickly. You should understand AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Python, relational databases, and Grafana.

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Infrastructure / DevOps experience, or a Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience working with Infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience creating, editing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
• Scripting, automation, and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Existing or ability to obtain IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
• Active U.S Government TS/SCI Security Clearance w/Poly

Desired:

• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
• Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and STIG hardening
• Familiarity with GitOps deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud networking and cloud security concepts
• Experience working with containerized applications and container orchestration systems
• Extensive experience with AWS technologies (EKS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, etc)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,400 - 227,500 USD
