Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering design and development experience with strong open source background.
• Strong Java development experience and performance/scalability focus.
• Big data experience in e-commerce or similar domains.
• Solid CS fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, YuniKorn).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Analytics infrastructure aligned with eBay Platform Infrastructure.
• Design and implement production-grade features for Hadoop-based ecosystems.
• Contribute to open source projects while delivering value to eBay.
• Collaborate in small teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
