SailPoint provides third-party identity risk solutions that are easy to use, and purpose built to help organizations execute risk-based identity access and lifecycle strategies for non-employee populations. We are tackling identity security threats for customers in health care, financial services, transportation, insurance, and more through our Non-employee Risk Management product. SailPoint’s solution provides an efficient, flexible, and secure identity solution to help companies manage non-employees and their relationships within those organizations.

We are hiring Staff Software Engineers to assist in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and operation of our SaaS applications. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, creative problem solvers with a passion for clean, well-organized code, and are experts in one or more areas of our tech stack, using innate curiosity and drive to make a significant impact in our product.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, well-tested, optimized, and thoroughly documented code
• Document designs, articulate design decisions and tradeoffs, and estimate complexity and effort for production
• Perform make-vs-buy analysis including review of alternative technologies
• Collaborate and mentor team members through pair programming and code reviews
• Maintain engagement with product management in agile meetings and processes
• Participate in benchmark and performance tuning efforts
• Champion industry standard best practices
• Deliver commitments on time meeting product and engineering requirements
• Provide high and low-level technical designs for team execution
• Offer solutions and technologies impacting the engineering organization

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience developing in Go
• Experience with scalable, performant code
• Strong understanding of CI/CD strategies and technologies
• Proficient with relational databases like MySQL
• Familiarity with Docker containerization
• Passion for writing simple, clean, efficient code
• Commitment to testing for high-quality software
• Experience designing and implementing complex solutions
• Ability to document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and whiteboards

Bonus skills:

• 8+ years experience with Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, Angular, or similar
• MongoDB experience
• OAuth, SAML, OIDC knowledge
• Experience with scrum and agile methodologies
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, ECR, S3, Fargate, RDS
• Internationalization experience

Education (preferred):

• BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Benefits and compensation vary based on location and employment type. The estimated US salary range is $129,000 - $184,300 - $239,600, with other locations offering competitive salaries.
