Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing, forensics, and report writing under licensed engineers. You will rotate through field drilling, lab data review, and drafting geotechnical and materials reports, with mentorship toward PE licensure.

A valid driver's license and field capability are required; travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related is required.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing: work on real projects and in varying weather.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs;
• Reduce and review laboratory data;
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports;
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations;
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects;
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
