Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure across geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed engineers. You will rotate through geotechnical, materials, and forensic projects while developing precise writing and data interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam date scheduled.
• Field-willing: willing to work on real projects in varying weather.
• Clear technical writing ability is required.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
