Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related environmental discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant environmental consulting, geology, hydrogeology, or field experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel for field assignments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental field investigations involving soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and other media.
• Support environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and site characterization.
• Assist with soil logging, monitoring well installation oversight, groundwater gauging and sampling, and data collection.
• Conduct field observations during remediation, construction, and environmental monitoring activities.
• Support operation, maintenance, and performance monitoring of remedial systems and pilot studies.
• Prepare maps, figures, and exhibits using GIS, databases, and other software.
• Collaborate with project teams to support environmental compliance, permitting, and remediation projects.
