  • Evaluate and understand the correlation between predicted and measured results by collaborating closely with test engineers and subject matter experts to validate geartrain hardware.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and test fixture design (4 square, transmission error, friction loss, NVH).
  • Propose and implement system improvements, work closely with teams to make sure such improvements are effectively implemented.
  • Contribute to design reviews, test plans, and requirement reviews to further optimize the powertrain system cross-functionally.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports related to development work.

  • 3 - 7 years of experience designing, developing, and validating geartrain hardware.
  • Experience optimizing geartrain systems utilizing CAE tools such as ANSYS, FEMFAT, Romax, LDP, GT-Suite, MATLAB or equivalent applications.
  • Experience with instrumentation and measurement of geartrain systems in a lab environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong first principles understanding and a system approach to design and development.
  • Willingness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment as part of a high-performing team.
  • Desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement.
