Treasury Prime builds APIs that give developers a direct connection to the banking system, enabling embedding a full range of banking services into applications. We are modernizing banking software to help banks and fintechs move faster. Our stack includes Clojure, React/Remix on the frontend, PostgreSQL, and hosting on AWS & Vercel.

Position

Staff-Level Full Stack Software Engineer. This frontend-heavy role (React-first) involves technical leadership in developing the UX used daily by banks and fintechs. You will help shape architecture, mentor engineers, and set technical direction for scalable, performant web applications. Your work will be a primary touchpoint for new and existing users to understand their money and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web user interfaces, ensuring high performance and scalability
• Shape and drive high-leverage frontend projects, from technical vision and architecture guidance through execution
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to launch features that directly impact customers
• Mentor and coach other engineers to raise technical quality and help them grow

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years operating at staff-level or above
• Deep expertise in React (ideally with modern frameworks such as Next.js or Remix)
• Experience collaborating on UX and design to deliver highly usable products
• Set exceptionally high technical standards for performance, maintainability, and scalability
• Interest in emerging technologies such as generative AI and blockchain
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys creating new things
• Broad backend exposure (SQL, APIs, distributed systems, Docker, databases) to complement frontend work

Note: While these are not hard requirements, the best candidates will meet many of these criteria.

Compensation

US Pay Range: $180,000 – $215,000 USD

CAD Pay Range: $135,000 – $161,250 CAD
