Job summary

Robots & Pencils is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex, integration-heavy platforms. You will define front-end architecture and technical strategy, and confidently own large parts of the system end-to-end.

In this role, you will mentor junior engineers, collaborate closely with senior engineers and leadership, and deliver high-quality work where reliability, performance, and scalability are critical.

• Experience designing front-end architectures and leading complex UI systems.
• Ability to own large parts of a system end-to-end and mentor others.
• Strong collaboration with product and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define front-end architecture and technical strategy for scalable platforms (React/Angular/Next.js/TypeScript).
• Lead back-end development and API architecture, integrating complex systems (Node.js/Python).
• Mentor junior engineers and influence engineering standards across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical choices with product goals.
