Job summary

Flex, a growth-stage FinTech headquartered in NYC, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead our MarTech initiatives and own the platforms powering customer-facing web experiences. You will drive acquisition and retention through scalable marketing services and high-quality UIs.

You’ll work on AWS, Java/Spring and TypeScript/React stacks, building APIs, data pipelines, and measurement integrations with ad and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on Java experience.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with React (or React Native).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience building high-quality web and mobile UIs to spec.

Responsibilities

• Build and own full-stack marketing services and web experiences that drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Design and develop 24/7 high-scale APIs, event-driven services, and data pipelines on AWS (Java/Spring, TS/React).
• Build measurement into everything we ship and integrate third-party ad, analytics, and messaging platforms.
• Work closely with marketing, data, product, design, and engineering peers to launch features and experiments across web and mobile.
