Ordergroove, a leader in Relationship Commerce, is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to shape large-scale subscription and retention experiences used by millions of customers. This fully remote role requires strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, CSS, and modern backend services, with a track record of leading complex initiatives end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering, with at least 3 years operating at a senior level.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, ambiguous technical projects from design through production.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and CSS.
• Experience designing and supporting scalable full-stack solutions.
• Experience using backend languages and frameworks to build services and APIs.
• Values quality and best-in-class user experience.
• Passionate about leveraging AI and eager to learn new skills.
• Skilled communicator, comfortable articulating complex ideas, driving technical discussions, and influencing decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the brainstorming, scoping, design and architecture of large-scale technical initiatives end to end, operating with significant autonomy on projects that span weeks or months
• Design and develop subscription management and retention (increasingly personalized with AI) that will be viewed and used by millions of customers
• Design and build AI agents that recommend and test subscriber retention tactics
• Serve as a peer technical leader and mentor, raising the bar for code quality, system design, and engineering practices across the team
• Build features across the full stack using a range of frontend and backend frameworks
• Set the best-in-class standards for frontend development across the company
