Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. seeks a high-impact L6 Staff Fullstack Engineer & Architect to drive architectural overhaul and cross-team initiatives across CB teams. You will mentor engineers, shape the roadmap with leadership, and ensure scalable, AI-native stack evolution.

You will work across backend, frontend, and ML systems, embedding into priority projects and delivering mission-critical initiatives that push the boundaries of AI data operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time engineering experience with a proven track record as Tech Lead, Architect, or Principal Engineer.
• Experience shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Experience with LLMs, vector databases, and modern AI technologies.
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript, and SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Deploy into critical, fast-moving CB product initiatives.
• Overhaul platform architecture for sustainability, scalability, and deep LLM integration.
• Make architecture decisions for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Mentor and elevate engineers across the team.
• Partner with product and leadership to shape roadmaps and priorities.
• Own large, ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end across backend, frontend and ML systems.
