Job summary

JobNimbus in Utah is seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to lead the architecture of our frontend platforms and drive monorepo migration. You will work with cross-functional teams to build shared agent surfaces powering AI features across the company.

You will mentor engineers, define UI standards, and ensure performance, accessibility, and test coverage. This role demands deep React/TypeScript expertise and a strategic, hands-on approach to platform infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with a heavy focus on complex, large-scale web applications and frontend architecture.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, build tools, and web performance tuning.
• Experience designing frontend platform infrastructure, shared components, and monorepo architectures (Nx, Turborepo).
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical strategy across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend technical strategy on the Platform team, focusing on core foundational work, infrastructure, and architectural excellence.
• Drive completion of the monorepo migration, modernizing remaining legacy surfaces to scalable frontend standards.
• Architect and build shared agent surfaces, approval screens, and underlying framework for AI features.
• Evolve and maintain module design-system infrastructure for consistency, performance, and reusability.
• Act as the frontend expert on the platform team, guiding decisions on system performance, UI architecture, build tooling, and state management.
• Write production-grade, resilient frontend code on complex shared components of the platform.
• Break down architectural friction, create clean module boundaries, and shared primitives.
• Raise frontend quality, accessibility, testing standards, and web performance across engineering.
• Mentor engineers across teams in modern web architecture and sustainable software practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development velocity and code quality.
