We’re an early-stage stealth AI startup founded by MIT engineers—privately funded, technically ambitious, and determined to lead in frontier conversational AI. Our technology is built to directly rival platforms like Character.ai, and we’re looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to shape our user experiences, scale aggressively, and impact millions of users globally. You’ll join a lean, driven team committed to technical excellence, autonomy, and rapid growth.

You’ll have direct ownership over critical frontend decisions, architecture, and implementation. You will rapidly build, iterate, and ship key user-facing features, working closely with our founding team to scale a world-class conversational AI product to millions of users. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading design and implementation of intuitive, performant, and scalable frontend experiences.
• Rapidly prototyping and iterating UI/UX features in close collaboration with product and ML teams.
• Owning frontend projects end-to-end, from ideation and development to deployment and optimization.
• 5+ years building and deploying scalable, responsive, and user-centric frontend applications.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong UI/UX sensibilities, excellent communication, and a clear sense of ownership.
• Driven by impact, eager to iterate quickly, and comfortable navigating rapidly changing technical requirements.
