Job summary

Harrison Clarke seeks an experienced Frontend Engineer to own the frontend from day one for a high-growth AI startup. You will shape architecture decisions in collaboration with founders and product teams, building intuitive interfaces that translate complex AI capabilities into accessible user experiences.

We value a deep React and TypeScript skill set, a eye for UI/UX, and the ability to scale frontend infrastructure to support large, concurrent users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of front end engineering experience and at least one 0-1 product build.
• Deep proficiency in React and modern TypeScript.
• Experience scaling frontend infrastructure for large, concurrent users.
• Strong UI/UX sense and pride in what you ship.
• Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
• Bonus: familiarity with LLM APIs, streaming interfaces, or real-time data pipelines.

Job description

Compensation:

$350,000 base salary plus bonus

What you'll be doing

You'll be embedded with a high-growth AI startup, owning the frontend from the ground up. That means shaping product architecture decisions early, working closely with founders and product teams, and building interfaces that make complex AI capabilities feel simple and intuitive to end users.

What we're looking for.

• 6+ years of front end engineering experience, with at least one 0-1 product build under your belt.
• Deep proficiency in React and modern TypeScript
• Experience scaling frontend infrastructure to support large, concurrent user bases
• A strong eye for UI/UX you care about what you ship, not just that it ships
• Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift
• Bonus: experience integrating LLM APIs, streaming interfaces, or real-time data pipelines
