Job summary

Kikoff is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to raise the technical bar for our company-wide web product surfaces, spanning Kikoff, Grant, and future products. You will own health, performance, and architecture of frontend systems at scale, setting direction and guiding the frontend roadmap.

You will work with PMs, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to ensure fast, reliable, and measurable impact, while mentoring teammates and driving quality improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience leading large consumer web apps.
• Experience building and operating consumer websites at scale with hundreds of thousands to millions of users.
• Hands-on React in production with performance tuning and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams without direct authority.
• Strong data analysis for business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy and architecture of Kikoff's company-wide web frontend.
• Lead frontend infrastructure work: tooling, CI/CD, observability, testing, developer experience.
• Build and evolve shared UI components and libraries used across products.
• Lead cross-team projects to improve reliability, responsiveness, and polish.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar.
