Primer is seeking a Staff Front-end Engineer to define and execute frontend architecture across multiple teams. You will own the client-facing platform patterns, state management, and performance, while mentoring engineers and partnering with product and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting front-end direction across multiple teams.
• Expertise in TypeScript and React for long-lived web apps.
• Deep knowledge of state management, performance, accessibility, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive front-end strategy across Account Experience teams, from architecture to hands-on implementation.
• Own architecture of a complex merchant platform, including patterns and state management.
• Shape Primer AI Companion as a first-class merchant interface with native-feeling frontend.
