Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Massachusetts) is seeking an FPGA/SoC design engineer to design and implement FPGA programs using HDL, IP, and embedded software. You will constrain designs, run timing analyses, and verify using behavioral models.

You will troubleshoot hardware issues, participate in design reviews, and help document demonstrations while collaborating with digital design, test, and marketing teams. A strong background in high-speed signaling and embedded software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or higher.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical and/or computer engineering
• Good experience with FPGA and/or SoC programming

• FPGA and/or SoC experience that includes high-speed signaling, electronics design and embedded software (preferred)
• Experience with Intel-Altera and/or AMD-Xilinx devices and tools, especially Gigabit Transceivers and high-speed memory (preferred)
• Experience with RTL HW programming and digital design in general (preferred)
• Experience with C/C++, Python and TCL and software design (preferred)
