Job summary

Lovable is seeking an experienced Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to help build the future of AI-powered software creation. You’ll be a founding member of the FDE function, working directly with customers to translate ambitious ideas into real products.

This hands-on role requires designing, writing, and shipping production code across frontend, backend, and AI systems; you’ll shape what becomes part of the Lovable platform and establish engineering standards as the team scales.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Ability to prototype quickly and turn experiments into production code.
• Excellent collaboration with customers and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand workflows and needs.
• Design, implement, test, and ship production software across frontend, backend, and AI components.
• Translate usage insights into platform improvements.
