Job summary

Enphase Energy, Inc. seeks a Staff System Firmware Controls Engineer to design and develop control firmware for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The successful candidate will have more than 8 years of experience in embedded systems, expertise in SCADA and industrial communication protocols, and a strong understanding of energy storage systems.

This position requires on-site work in Austin, Texas, and offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $151,000 along with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years developing embedded/system firmware or control software, preferably for power systems.
• Strong experience with industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot within complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system-level control firmware and software for BESS EMS.
• Implement real and reactive power dispatch and manage multi-vendor subsystems.
• Ensure real and reactive power commands comply with interconnection agreements.
