Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a Financial Accountant Staff to join the Shared Service organization. This role prepares, analyzes and reports on the health system's financial data, compiling statements and ensuring financial compliance.

You will handle month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable/receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews, with opportunity to work across departments.

Formación

• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the accounting field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Execute month-end and year-end closings and close procedures.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and tax returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements.
