Description

The Staff Field Engineer will be the technical lead for a team of Field Engineers building data center networks used by a major MSO to deliver high-speed internet, video, and voice in the Northeast Region in the United States.

What You Will Work With

• Account Management to walk out and price new jobs; and to request additional labor hours in response to customer change requests
• Program Management to ensure projects are completed on time and to close jobs
• Customer to review project designs and execution plan
• Field Engineering team to train and ensure quality

What You Should Know

• The fundamentals of IP networking and DOCSIS
• Fiber network installation and certification
• Configuration of servers and IP switches
• Troubleshooting skills to be able to place installed networks into production with no unscheduled interruptions in services
