Job Summary

We're looking for a Staff Experience Researcher with a mixed-methods background to join our Enterprise Services Experience Research team. As an influential member of the team, you'll work across a portfolio of products, collaborating with cross-functional partners to uncover deep insights that shape user-centered experiences for businesses, marketplaces, and partners. You'll own research end-to-end, from framing questions and developing research roadmaps to driving action from your findings in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop clear plans and priorities to gather insights and make data-driven decisions to meet team performance
• Perform more-complex analysis using highly specialized product knowledge and advanced business expertise
• Lead functional projects and programs that enhance user experiences based on research findings
• Design methodologies including user testing, surveys and data analysis understanding of business needs and industry trends
• Develop and implement research methodologies that optimize user testing and data collection processes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of research practices and team efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Primary Location | Pay Range:New York City, New York: ($159,500.00 - $236,500.00 Annually) Additional Location(s) | Pay Range:Chicago, Illinois: ($145,000.00 - $215,050.00 Annually) Austin, Texas: ($145,000.00 - $215,050.00 Annually) San Jose, California: ($159,500.00 - $236,500.00 Annually) Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable. For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
