What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Project Managers with project tasks to meet profitability goals and deliver high-quality services
- Review project data, facilitate data transfer, and maintain project tracking and quality assurance tasks
- Assist in ensuring project compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Conduct environmental analysis and support environmental construction monitoring efforts
- Participate in continuous improvement programs and uphold safety practices according to company standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS in planning, environmental science, biology, ecology, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in environmental science or compliance in California
- Knowledge of environmental regulations including CESA, FESA, CEQA, and NEPA
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer-aided software such as Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and ArcGIS
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with threatened and endangered species and CEQA/NEPA policy
- Familiarity with biological construction monitoring and habitat restoration
- Knowledge of land development and construction techniques related to utility construction
