Job summary

SRC, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineering Science Specialist to support Department of Defense programs focused on weapons effects, testing data acquisition, and end-to-end WMD/HDBT integration.

The role interfaces across manufacturing, testing, and contractor teams to advance technology readiness and program objectives. The position requires a BS in engineering with 8+ years of experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and familiarity with DoW/AFRL standards and penetration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (or eligible).
• Familiarity with DoW/AFRL/Army ERDC standards and modeling frameworks.
• Familiarity with classified weapons effects databases and penetration tools.
• Ability to present technical deliverables to government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate test performers and their ability to meet test objectives.
• Establish and maintain a DTRA weapons performance database for historical and future test data.
• Support penetration testing with analysis, characterization deliverables, and data interpretation.
• Utilize model improvements from pre & post-test predictions.
• Extract insights from large datasets to inform decisions and drive innovation.
