American Structurepoint is looking for a Road Engineer in our Traffic Engineering Group. The internship would be located in our Indianapolis, IN Design Center.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic)

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Blubeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge.
• Projects would include Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads, and Large Interstate Improvements.

Qualifications

• Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things.
