As a Staff Engineer in Engine Systems, you will shape and lead Tech Mat test rigs crucial to maturing new technologies for the Next Generation Engine. This role will focus on supporting rigs aimed at testing shaft dynamics, controls systems, bearings and pumps, and other engine systems needs. This on-site role in Cincinnati involves leading cross-functional teams to meet program goals, working transparently with various stakeholders to achieve success.
Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch of critical Tech Mat Test rigs starting this year's design cycle.
  • Execute analysis and evaluation of assigned projects, meeting business standards and product/program requirements with limited guidance.
  • Formulate plans to achieve technical requirements and respond to potential issues proactively.
  • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to assigned teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical data in accordance with engineering policies.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and significant developments effectively.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems engineering.

  • Project management skills and the ability to execute programs effectively.
