Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to manage complex chiller projects and support lifecycle activities from development to release. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, defining system requirements, and ensuring design adherence with rigorous documentation and validation processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience or a Master’s with 5+ years, strong communication skills, and HVAC domain familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage several components of a complex project or all components of a smaller project.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to introduce and support chillers through their life cycle.
• Provide technical support for quality escapes, non-conformances, turnbacks, and production disruptions.
• Define chiller system level requirements with minimal supervision.
• Ensure product changes adhere to design standards, are documented, validated, and released per company processes.
• Confirm product performance, capability and reliability using system modeling and test methodologies.
• Travel up to 10%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managers several components of a complex project or all components of a smaller project
• Work cross-functionally with the organization to effectively introduce and support the chillers through their life cycle.
• Provide technical support for activities including quality escapes, non-conformances, turnbacks, and production disruptions.
• Defines chiller system level requirements with minimal supervision.
• Ensures product changes adhere to design standards, documented, validated, and released in accordance with company processes.

• Confirm product performance, capability and reliability utilizing system modeling and applicable test methodologies.
• Travel up to 10%.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience

OR

• Masters degree and 5+ years of professional systems engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Project leadership experience

• Experience in a new product development, service and/or aftermarket space

• HVAC industry experience
• Six Sigma Certification

• Strong communication skills

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
