Job summary

Xsolla seeks a Staff Engineer to own the smart wallet and account abstraction layer of our Web3 platform. You will architect the on-chain account model, signing workflows, session management, and gas abstraction at scale, while shaping custody and recovery strategies including MPC paths.

This role requires deep cryptography, Go/TypeScript, and production-grade wallet delivery across teams. You will influence ERC-4337 workflows, EIP-7702, and cross-chain awareness, ensuring security and

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of ERC-4337 and UserOperation lifecycle.
• Knowledge of EOA delegation and account abstraction in L2s.
• Experience building/operating production smart wallets or account abstraction.
• Experience with Solidity/EVM and wallet interfaces.
• Proven ability to design and influence cryptographic wallet architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own Smart Wallet & AA Architecture and strategy.
• Design Account & Signing Model including session keys and delegation.
• Own Gas Abstraction and paymaster strategies.
• Harden dApp-facing surface and security model for third-party integrations.
• Lead custody and recovery roadmaps towards MPC custody.
• Drive cross-team architectural decisions and ensure platform reliability.
• Proactively de-risk through security and operational guardrails.
• Set engineering standards and mentor across teams.
• Align with stakeholders and own production escalations.
