Job summary

Xsolla seeks a Staff Engineer to own the smart wallet and account abstraction layer of our Web3 platform. You’ll set direction for a high‑impact, on‑chain account system used by millions of players, with MPC custody roadmaps and robust security design.

You’ll partner with engineering, product, security, and legal teams to translate complex requirements into scalable technical plans, RFCs, and practical implementations that ship with confidence across devices and dApps.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade wallet or account abstraction systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cryptography basics, and security best practices.
• Ability to write RFCs and design docs that are actually read.

Responsibilities

• Own Smart Wallet & AA Architecture at scale, including signing, session management, and gas abstraction.
• Design the account & signing model and derive deterministic addresses from identity.
• Lead custody and recovery strategy toward MPC-based solutions and recovery paths.
• Drive cross-team decisions on architecture, SDKs, data models, and platform reliability.
• Identify and mitigate key management and security risks before incidents.
