Job summary

Moonlake is building AI-powered world simulations to advance robotics and embodied AI. We seek a hands‑on Staff Engineer to bridge simulation, world models, and real robotic systems in a full‑stack role.

You will evaluate robot foundation models, train world models, and develop pipelines to deploy policies on real robots, collaborating with researchers and engineers across simulation and AI teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in robotics, embodied AI, machine learning, or related fields.
• Experience working with physical robotic systems.
• Experience with robotic simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Habitat, Gazebo, or similar.
• Familiarity with robot learning, foundation models, or world models.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and robotics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate robot foundation models and policies in simulated environments.
• Train world models for robotics to understand and predict environment dynamics.
• Build real‑world robot learning pipelines using simulated and physical data.
• Deploy and operate physical robots, maintaining hardware and deployment workflows.
