Job summary

RH2 Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Staff Engineer (0–4 years) to contribute to public infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, transportation, and environmental systems. You will gain mentorship, apply engineering analyses, and develop base maps using survey data.

You will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools; participate in field visits; and communicate results clearly while growing through diverse project types and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil/environmental/mechanical engineering.
• EIT certification within 1 year; PE licensure desired in 4–5 years.
• 0–4 years of staff engineer experience; strong academic record.
• Interest in public infrastructure and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering education to real-world public works challenges with mentorship.
• Gather data and support analyses for planning, design, and construction.
• Perform entry-level design calculations and base maps from survey data
• Participate in field visits and construction observations with the team
• Revise reports and visuals based on supervisor feedback
• Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic tools and related software
• Support projects across water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and transportation
• Collaborate across offices and disciplines on multi-office teams
