Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Trading - Portfolio Management team to build high-quality, scalable applications using AWS backend services. You’ll impact asset class expansion, design patterns, and engineering best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and architecture of new products.
• Expert-level knowledge in Java or Kotlin.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience applying Design Patterns and SOLID principles, plus automated unit tests.
• Strong motivation to learn new technologies and navigate complex codebases.
• Collaborative, proactive engineers to build impactful solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply trading domain knowledge and technical skills to intersect design, strategy, and engineering.
• Involved in the entire software development process across asset class expansion.
• Shape and optimize a tech stack using AWS back-end services.
• Create developer automation for scalable, high-quality applications.
• Advocate design and development best practices.
• Coach and mentor product engineers on secure enterprise apps.
• Think creatively, own problems, communicate clearly.
