Summary

This position is part of a highly competent group of designers and is expected to provide strong technical leadership in the design and development of highly competitive Industry products that meet the Customers’ expectation.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Engineering Foundation Competencies: Expert in PCB design tools Cadence Allegro 16.x & 17.x, experience on Valor Trilogy 5000/NPI is preferred
• Possess experience in high density PCB design up to 28 layers and familiar with high-speed layout design requirements
• Working knowledge of setting and complying with board and trace constraints
• Strong knowledge of PCB & PCBA manufacturing process
• Excellent knowledge of industry and quality standards; knowledge of IPC standards is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IT platforms and database design; familiar with EMC & EMI layout requirements
• Able to summarize the layout experience from the customer’s requirements
• Self-motivated, capable of completing assignments in a dynamic environment, aggressive schedule, and complex design requirements

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
