Job summary

Prime Intellect in San Francisco is building the Prime Agent, an open-source coding and research agent. This generalist software engineering role spans product development and the underlying agent systems, owning features end-to-end from design through deployment and monitoring.

You'll ship at the pace of an early-stage company tackling frontier AI, collaborating with researchers and engineers to translate new agent capabilities into reliable product features.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience building developer tools or platform products.
• Ability to turn frontier AI concepts into product features.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive interfaces for working with agents and managing tasks.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate across Prime ecosystem to build cloud agents and integrations.
• Work with researchers to translate capabilities into product features.
• Contribute to internal tooling and developer experience improvements.
• Ship production code with ownership and pragmatic engineering.
