Job summary

Adyen in San Francisco is seeking a Staff Engineer for Intelligent Customer Experiences to evolve our interface from traditional dashboards into intelligent, conversational financial partner experiences. You will own architecture and frontend/backend orchestration.

You will mentor teams worldwide, design secure, zero-trust AI components, and partner with the Head of Product to identify high-impact merchant flows.

Qualifications

• Proven track record architecting AI-enabled front-end/back-end systems.
• Experience building production-grade interfaces powered by LLMs and secure data handling.
• Strong security-by-design mindset for financial data and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of conversational UIs and multimodal experiences beyond static dashboards.
• Bridge architecture and innovation, coordinating AI initiative integrations across teams and geographies.
• Architect Zero-Trust security for conversational interfaces and financial data privacy in AI workflows.
• Partner with Head of Product to identify high-impact intelligent merchant flows and opportunities.
• Own end-to-end technical lifecycle, from data pipelines to front-end renderers.
• Mentor engineers and drive global technical standards across Adyen.
