Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks of moderate to high complexity as directed by the project or program manager.
• Provide technical leadership within a team.
• Ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Engage in activities such as integrated circuit design, integrated circuit layout, and radiation effects failure analysis.

Position Description: Provides a thorough knowledge of a related discipline as a technical specialist. Performs technical work on designated project(s) as directed. Possesses an engineering degree and work experience that can be directly applied to complex technical problems, including computer science, electrical engineering, or radiation effects expertise. Upon technical direction, works independently to achieve applicable solutions. Tasks may include original source code development, integrated circuit design, integrated circuit layout, and radiation effects failure analysis. Presents results to management in a coherent and defensible manner. Documents results in presentation and written form, including briefing charts and report documents.
