Job summary

PARADIGM Structural Engineers, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineer – II to perform structural analysis, design, calculations, and construction documents.

The ideal candidate collaborates with Senior and Project Engineers on diverse project types across market sectors and begins taking ownership of analysis tasks and drawing production as skill grows. Required are a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering and 3 years of related experience; EIT is required, PE preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of increasing engineering experience in structural analysis and design.
• Experience in preparing plans and detail drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit/AutoCAD and software such as MS Word & Excel, Enercalc, RAM, RISA, and ETABS or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design and prepare calculations and construction documents.
• Review contractor submittals.
• Collaborate with Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers on a range of project types.
• Begin taking on greater ownership of analysis tasks and drawing production as experience grows.
