Job summary

PARADIGM Structural Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer to develop analytical models, perform structural analysis, prepare calculation packages, and review contractor submittals. You will work as part of a design team under supervision of a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Associate.

Qualifications include a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with MS and EIT preferred. 0–2 years of increasing experience and familiarity with Revit, MS Word, Excel, Enercalc, ETABS

Job description

The Staff Engineer is an entry-level structural designer responsible for developing analytical models, performing structural analysis, preparing calculation packages, and reviewing contractor submittals. Staff Engineers work as part of a design team under the supervision of a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Associate.

Qualifications

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering

MS and EIT preferred

Individuals should have 0-2 years of increasing engineering experience in structural analysis and design, as well as experience in preparing plans and detail drawings.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Familiarity with Revit and software such as MS Word & Excel, Enercalc, and ETABS or SAP is helpful.

After 6 months of employment, employee is eligible to work from home up to 4 days per month.

After 90 days of employment, employee is eligible to use PARADIGM owned condominium at the Everline Resort located in Olympic Valley, California.
