What You'll Do

As a Staff Engineer II - Full Stack Developer, you'll provide expertise in a suite of technical tools and products in a given domain to ensure solutions are safe, secure, compliant and reliable. You'll identify develop and support needs, as well as taking on design responsibilities supporting project tasks. You'll facilitate dialogue and activities to ensure team collaboration including teams outside of your domain. You'll develop effective presentations and narratives for their teams.

We want a creative, highly motivated Full Stack developer with lead experience, who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment.

This position is ONSITE ONLY and you must live in or within a commutable distance from Phoenix, AZ, Columbus, OH, or Irving, TX.

  • Works both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver innovative software solutions to customers and business partners.
  • Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into tangible work tasks.
  • Collaborates closely with peer developers, QA testers, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
  • Architect, design, create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customer-facing cloud-based applications.
  • Participate in the creation of new products and prototypes from scratch.
  • Develop front and back-end website/app architecture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing product suite.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Ensure web products are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices such as low-end mobile phones, desktop.
  • Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.
  • Lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design.
  • Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
  • Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures while also ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards. Develop desktop procedures when needed that others follow.

What You'll Need

  • 7+ years’ experience in analyzing, designing and developing using Microsoft Technologies and .Net framework. Full-Stack development using Angular and .Net as frontend and backend technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in other UI technologies like React, Node JS, Vue JS is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with ASP.NET Web APIs to build Restful APIs.
  • Good working experience in building applications using .Net MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • 5+ years of experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS resources in Azure or AWS cloud technologies. Solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications. Experience using Git, TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management.
  • 5+ years of experience in Database using SQL Server.
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels.
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.
